GrAdes are in!!

Aces. I earned two. I owned my first semester of grad school! Go Kam!!! School starts again in a few days. Why do I have that sick pit in my stomach? I can do it, I can do it, I can do it! Here's to another semester of great academia!!

Photobucket

A quick Gunnar anecdote. I tutored last night. On Mondays my boys have their Men's Club where they sit around in their underwear drinking beer(root ;)), and watching Noggin, show after show. Last night they ran a few errands instead of staying in. (They were dressed of course; they only strip down to their underwear in the privacy of our own home, although Gunnar would get naked anywhere.) On the way out of Albertson's Gunnar spotted our favorite pizza place.
"Dad, eats a pizza!"
"Gunnar, I don't know if that is in the budget for this week son."
"Dad, Nunnie a pay."
"You are going to pay for the pizza?"
"Yea!" (He actually could aford it- the kid has a lot of money in his account!)
"Where's your money?"
"In my pocket." Then he reached in his pocket looking for his money to buy pizza.
Jaren couldn't get over the cuteness; my boys had pizza for dinner last night- lucky ducks.

You Go Kamee!!! You strike me as the kind who could get two A's! What are you studying in grad school anyway?

The Gunnar pizza story was too cute! I asked my 3 year old "babysit" my 1 year old while I sorted the recycling to take out. He didn't seem too keen on the idea until I told him I would pay him. His eyes lit up and he got a huge grin on his face: "will you pay me a THOUSAND dollars?" he asked. I laughed so hard! I ended up giving him a quarter, but he still called it his 'thousand dollars'.

Crazy, girl, what are you getting your Master's in? Or maybe it's your PhD.

Anyway, I would love to get together and have you take pics of Maddy. Send me an email through my blog and we can try to figure something out.

I just came across this workshop too http://www.themodernportrait.com/.
