Yesterday, Gunnar and I had to get out of the house and burn off some energy. It was a beautiful California December day so we headed out on a long walk towards an open, grassy park for some soccer. Watch out Beckham; Gunnar's got some sweet skills.
Warm-up calistenics.
Would you look at the elongated spine? What perfect form. Throw the ball back in, Gun. Game on.
Dribble Baby, Dribble.
"Oh Great Soccer God- Please allow my crocs to give me super speed on this green today, and please allow my feet to make actual contact with the ball. AMEN!"
Beckham's got nothing on this super-star!
Victory! Good day on the green. I love you Gunnar. Thanks for the game yesterday; I had fun chasing you. xoxo Mommy Mom

Okay, what *I* want to see is a picture of you, playing soccer with Gunnar, taking PICTURES of Gunnar playing soccer. I bet that was tricky! :)
He is so cute - and can I say he looks quite tall. Crocs are the new official soccer shoe - so much more stylish. I cannot believe that Cyndi laughed when you told her to start her own blog. Since when are twins + two an excuse for anything :) .. Your pictures rock!!
I don't think Gunny was praying. He was just so sad his buddy Cade was not playing with him. Sorry, but Cade does not play Euro games. Only baseball, basketball, and football. If Cade plays soccer, the terrorists win.
UMMMM Shorts! I guess I should be re-thinking my California packing list! We are ankle deep in snow and planning for more all through the weekend! I guess we'll just leave the cute gloves and hats back in Utah! HALLELUJAH!!!

good job, kam. soccer is my favorite sports for little boys to play. i like JYSA culture better than little league culture and Pop Warner culture put together. I approve of your parenting.
