At Last

I sorted through 4,000 wedding images, got them organized, and found a few favorites to share. A tremendous, thank-you shout out goes to my second shooter and friend, Ashley, who is so humbly talented, and such a good and nice person. Ash- I was so happy to be able to work with you again. Thank you for being there, for capturing so many great moments, and for supporting me in this endeavor; I am grateful for you.
Anne and Dale, these are for you. May they evoke very special memories from a very special day.
Ashley and I arrived early to get a few details and then to snap Anne getting ready. Dale was ready before we got to him; excited, were you Dale?

Something I have always admired about Anne is her sweetness and her ability to remain calm; her voice stays at the same level no matter the situation. She was as mellow as she could be on her wedding morning.

Some final touches after make-up.

Another detail of her exquisite flowers, pre-ceremony.

We arrived at the venue early and they wouldn't allow us to go in. Anne, in true Anne form, remainded as cool as a cucumber and waited patiently for our turn. Her focus was so on Dale and their love that little hiccups couldn't even threaten wedding day destruction. ;)
Once we got there Anne headed to take care of a few final details, major ones actually like putting on her dress and a last coat of lip stick.
Photobucket
There were over 400 buttons on her dress, I am sure. Anne's mom and sister had to use a button puller to get each one through.

While Anne was finishing up Dale entertained guests, and waited, somewhat patiently, for the appearance of his bride. :)

The ceremony was lovely and perfect for Anne and Dale.

My favorite part was how emotional Dale was. He was touched at the sight of Anne and had a hard time composing himself for the rest of the wedding. He is so smitten and in love with this woman. I love that!!

Love! Love! Love this one!!

Sealed with a kiss...

the new Mr. and Mrs.

The celebration was full of sweetness,

romance,

pieces of heaven,

and a couple very much in love.

Anne looked beautiful,

and her shoes were stinkin' cute. (Although I bet she was ready to kick them off at the end of the day. ;))
Photobucket
Dale looked quite dapper himself.

After the ceremony and party we had the bride and groom to ourselves for a few pictures at the beach. We started at the Ritz and then made our way down to the water.

Anne and Dale remember as you continue to "walk off into the sunset" together that you each are carrying a new heart.
A favorite in honor of you and your love:
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in my heart)
i am never without it(anywhere i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)
i want no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true) and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide) and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)
e. e. cummings
May you live "happily ever after"...

Thanks again for the opportunity and experience- xoxo Kam

Great Job! Will you take my girls photos at their weddings. I know I might be rushing things, but I thought I would book it 15 years early... because you are going to be booked solid if you keep taking your great photos.

Kam,

Friend-o-mine, I love the pictures you take because of the details and emotion you capture. You frame things in a way that I feel I am seeing it for the first time...from the mundane to the extraordinary (the most recent shoot obviously falling into the latter). Bravo!
